Vegas Surprise

CODY: | | (SIMILAR ) | | |

Last weekend one of my best friends and I decided to surprise our husbands with a 24 hour adult trip to Vegas to race their favorite cars. Cody loves cars, he will sit and read about them all night, watch you tube videos of everything and anything to do with super cars! We made a bucket list when we first got married, and this had been on it so I was really excited to take him!

We rented our cars from a local company in Vegas () and they were so helpful! I know like nothing about cars so I think I literally called like 20 times trying to decide which package and we should do lol. We ended up doing the 24 hour rental vs. the 3 hour rental and I’m so glad we did! It would have been so rushed only doing the couple hours. They pick you up in a Rolls Royce from your hotel and take you to the dealership to pick your favorite car. Cody picked the and our friends picked the . We raced around the whole day it was such a blast. First we went to the Hoover Dam – I think Cody had us up to 145-150 MPH part of the way it was crazy! The dam was so cool though – I had never been before and it’s only like 20 miles outside of Vegas. After the dam we went the opposite direction to Red Rock Canyon. They have a 15 mile trail you can drive that takes you through the Canyon that’s super pretty.

That night we got dressed up and went to a yummy Italian restaurant that overlooks the Bellagio Fountains and the strip. Their pasta was so yummy! Order the Rigatoni it’s the best! I also got the salmon (do the sampler it’s the best way to try it all) For dessert they bring a cart full of various desserts and you get to pick your three favorites. The raspberry sorbet and chocolate chip cookies were my favorite 🙂

We had booked a bunch of other stuff to do on our trip but literally all the guys wanted to do was drive around! Cody was like a little kid on Christmas morning – just giggly and smiley haha it was so so cute! If your hubs is a car guy this is such a fun gift to do together!

XX, Christine

I just wanted to say, I am absolutely #OBSESSED [to say the absolute least] with your – 1.) Style, 2.) Life [relationship with your hubby, and your little ones] 3.) How HAPPY you always are [& look]. I was showing my mom your little video segment on YouTube & we can’t get enough of your #genuine smile and how contagious it is! I also wanted to say that I base a ton of my outfits & style off of your blog & I just want to say, KEEP THEM COMING. I hope that when I’m off my parents budget and have a career of MY OWN that I will be able to afford your more high end stuff because I just purchased my FIRST and very own Louis Vuitton and girl, I’M STOKED! But another thing, I am always hated on about my weight and always being “too small” and I’ve even heard people say that about you and I’ve read those mean comment too but like how do you deal with that? Because I DO eat what I want but I also workout and like I’m naturally smaller [with a faster metabolism] but I just want to know how to go about those negative people and their nasty comments. – because it DOES get old!

Anyway, if you don’t message back – I SO get it, you’re like the biggest fashion & lifestyle blogger out there, but I wanted to wish you a Merry Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

    1. Hi Jackie!

Thank you so much for your sweet message and congrats on your first big purchase!! Isn’t is so exciting?!

Don’t worry about the negative comments people make. It took me a long time to not let it bug me, but I’ve realized people will always make assumptions about you – positive or negative – it’s your choice how you respond to them. I know that I eat, and I know that I am just naturally small so I just try to ignore the people that say I have issues. It still sucks when I can feel people staring making judgements but I always try to just smile and make it positive somehow. You seem like the sweetest girl so let your happy personality shine and don’t worry about the other people!

Thank you so much for reading!! I love connecting with readers and hearing their stories 🙂
